Laois Hire donate Generator and Power Washer to Feed Our Homeless charity

At a time when the homeless situation in Ireland has reached crisis proportions, Laois Hire are proudly supporting Feed Our Homeless, a wonderful non profit, non funded, voluntary organisation operating several nights weekly in Dublin’s City Centre. Laois Hire were delighted to donate a generator to help run their soup kitchen and keep the lights going during the dark nights of winter. Other items donated include a power washer to keep the van shining and sleeping bags which are so vital to keep the service users warm and safe at night.

Mark Lawless, a driver for Laois Hire, volunteers weekly with the charity and says “These items will help the team carry out it’s frontline services as well as charity events in the community.”

Feed Our Homeless is an incredible charity ran by a truly dedicated and selfless group of staff and volunteers. If you would like to help them continue to make a difference to the lives of those affected by homelessness, or to find out more about their work, please visit their website: https://feedourhomeless.ie/
