Laois Hire Group invest heavily in top quality equipment to join their extensive Hire Fleet

As part of our extensive growth strategy, we have made another major investment to further expand our Hire Fleet. A variety of Brand new equipment is continuously flowing into our branches and is a sign of our serious commitment to deliver the best machinery possible to customers.

Power Generation

We have invested over 2.3 million euro into our generation fleet, with both MacGen and FG Wilson sets coming into our Branches in the next few weeks. This is an exciting time for the Power Division and these sets range from 40kva to 150kva, are all fully Super Silent with 24 hour running internal fuel tanks and complete rental set specs.

Lighting Towers

40 X MHM DT-9’S (LED 8) Eco Friendly Towable Mobile Diesel Lighting Towers with Dusk till Dawn stop/start sensor.

Pumps

Over 3/4 of a million euro has been invested in Selwood Pumps to expand our Pumping divison. These will be from the New Selwood Eco range, both 4 and 6 inch sets which are suitable for a full range of sewage, sewer bypass, overpumping, water & wastewater applications. They are designed to handle large solids including raw sewage and fibrous solids without blocking

-New Hamm Ride on Rollers to keep up with the demand on new Civils projects that have started as well as new 6mtr, 14mtr and 18mtr Teleporters, which have been turned around straight away and are already out on hire.

-Another major recent investment was in brand new Sinoboom 1932 ME Scissor Lifts. 50 have arrived so far with more due to follow soon.

-We’ve recently added approx. 12 new Plant Trailers to the Fleet and a brand new Scania HiAb Truck.
