Regional Operations Manager
Regional Operations Manager required for Laois Hire Group of Companies.
Company car included.
Responsibilities
- To oversee all day to day operational activities including:
Logistics – Meeting delivery deadlines and managing a large fleet of transport vehicles, and plant fleet. Ensuring all vehicles and equipment are maintained to highest standards.
Engineering activities – Overseeing fleet maintenance consisting of large equipment to small builders, civil tools and equipment, managing workshops
- Customer Service
- Promote Efficiencies
- Focus on Carbon reduction targets
- Health & Safety
- Managing the utilisation of a large plant fleet to ensure maximum returns are achieved at all times.
- Responsible for all stock control, carrying out regular stock checks.
- Oversee the implementation of new IT systems, and upgrading of same from time to time.
- Responsible for full profit and loss on operations departments, cost controls, working to budgets.
Requirements:
- Must be fully IT literate
- Reporting directly to Managing Director.
- A third level qualification in Mechanical Engineering an advantage but not essential.
